I have over 20 years' legal experience, with my main areas of expertise being trusts (formation, administration and winding up), estate planning, Court of Protection work, wills and probate.
I deal with a significant number of cases relating to Court of Protection work and act as a deputy for a number of cases. I deal with a wide range of clients including the elderly and those with farming and business interests.
I particularly enjoy applying the law to meet clients' needs with practical solutions.
I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a full accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), and I am on the Alzheimer Research UK list of specialist solicitors.
Note: The STEP Code for Will Preparation in England and Wales is a set of ethical principles that operate for the benefit of the client. Irene Cox is a full member of STEP and therefore adheres to this code in the preparation of a will. Follow the link for further information on the STEP code. Read here.
