Following my qualification in 2012 I spent five years gaining valuable litigation experience with a highly regarded Teesside litigation team before joining Archers as an Associate in the Litigation Department in July 2018.
I have extensive experience of all types of litigation and insolvency and have been successful in securing outcomes in high value, complex disputes involving issues relating to professional negligence, injunction proceedings concerning allegations of data theft (including issuing and defending search orders) and enforcement of post termination restrictive covenants, property litigation, agency, mis-selling and contractual disputes. I have particular experience of litigation in the utilities sector, construction and professional services.
I act for a range of clients including small to medium sized businesses, high profile and high net worth clients most of which are repeat clients given the commitment I have to them.
The highlights of my career externally was that In 2015 I was appointed as the youngest ever President of the Tees Valley Law Society, and in 2016 I was shortlisted for the award ‘Rising Star- Young Lawyer of the Year’ at the Northern Law Awards. In 2019, I was also appointed to the management board for local charity, The Moses Project.
I have also been recognised as a 'Rising Star' for Commercial Litigation in the UK Legal 500 2021.
