Following my qualification in 2012 I spent five years gaining valuable litigation experience with a highly regarded Teesside litigation team before joining Archers as an Associate in the Litigation Department in July 2018.
I have extensive experience of all types of litigation and insolvency including being responsible and securing successful outcomes in high value, complex disputes involving issues relating to professional negligence, injunction proceedings concerning allegations of data theft, insolvency, property litigation, contractual disputes to name just a few. I have also dealt with more niche areas which recently included litigation involving the Care Quality Commission.
I act for a range of clients including small to medium sized businesses, high profile and high net worth clients most of which are repeat clients given the commitment I have to them. I was proud to have been mentioned in the 2017 edition of the Legal 500 where I was described as “highly professional”.
The highlights of my career externally was that In 2015 I was appointed as the youngest ever President of the Tees Valley Law Society, and in 2016 I was shortlisted for the award ‘Rising Star- Young Lawyer of the Year’ at the Northern Law Awards given the high level of work I was involved with.
In 2019, I was also appointed to the management board for local charity, The Moses Project.
"The ‘highly professional’ Helen Lyne, who is recognized for their property litigation expertise." Legal 500.
