Investing in next generation solicitors is vital for sustaining a strong Teesside legal market in the years ahead. As Emma qualifies, the firm provides new opportunities to Mary, Ellie and Matthew.
Emma Smith has successfully completed her training with the firm and will commence her new role as Solicitor with the commercial property team.
Emma had experience of a legal environment prior to her training contract as she studied whilst working as a Court Usher at Teesside Magistrates Court. Emma joined Archers Law in 2016 after successfully completing her LPC. She showed real aptitude and determination throughout her interview stages.
As Emma progresses her legal career, the firm is committed to its contribution of developing and training the next generation of Solicitors.
Mary Foster joined the firm in 2017 and is mid-way through her training contract. Prior to joining the firm Mary worked as a Legal Assistant for a Newcastle based firm that had a focus on commercial property matters. During her training contract with Archers Law she has spent time with our family and corporate teams before recently moving to our wills, probate and trust team. She is also a committee member of TVLS.
Mary will qualify in 2019.
Ellie Clements and Matthew Ray have started their training contracts with the firm this September.
Whilst completing her LPC, Ellie joined the firm in 2017 as a Legal Secretary. She more recently moved in to a Legal Assistant position with the litigation team and will stay with that team to undertake her first Trainee Solicitor seat.
Matthew completed his LPC in 2018. Whilst studying Matthew worked in his student law clinic and was able to articulate working examples of legal advice he had been involved with during his education. His first Trainee Solicitor seat is with the Corporate and Commercial team.
Ellie and Matthew will qualify in 2020.
